Question by trevathantim: I just came out of a 7-yr. bankruptcy and show 'no credit'. How can I get a used car loan?
I have about $ 2200/mo. income and want a $ 9k used car loan for 5 years @ $ 200/mo. Any ideas on how I can find a loan. I have applied at a couple of places and been rejected [online] and don't want too many requestes to foil future chances of getting a loan.

Too many inquries does affect your score but not as much as having inquries for multiple things. If your inquring about a car loan, mortgage loan, personal loan, etc chances are your hurting your credit. If you are only searching for auto loans it might pinch it a little but there is nothing major to worry about, the credit bureaus know your just auto loan shopping. Everyone does this to make sure they dont get ripped off by high interest loans.
