Toyota hits $1.2B profit for quarter
WASHINGTON -- Toyota reported a $1.2-billion quarterly profit on Tuesday and boosted its financial forecast for the coming fiscal year, even as it revealed it had spent $1.1 billion on recalling 8 million vehicles worldwide.

"These companies are hitting all the milestones expected," said the former Obama automotive task force chief.
