Question by Twist: i bought a truck on loan and paid it off completely, for some reason only one of the three credit?
reporting agencies has record of it and unfortunately it isn't the agency that lenders look at in this state so its like i never bought it which means it has no positive effect on my credit score.
my question(s) 1)why wouldn't it be on all three 2)does the law require all three to report this? 3)can i somehow get trans-union and equifax to add this to there report so that i am getting credit for a paid debt?

It probably depends on who the credit subscribes to in terms of credit reporting. Most of the credit card companies subscribe to all three. Contact the financial company and ask why they didn't report the payments and payoff to the other two agencies. What have you got to lose?
