How do i get a car loan when im on disability?

   As much as I hate to say this, if your credit is bad there is no way you are going to get around proving your income. If your income is below $ 2,000.00 a month (minimum for most lenders) you are going to have to go to a buy here pay here lot.

   If you must do this, try and find one that at least reports to the credit bureaus so you can build your credit back up.

   You’re not going to get a loan, with no chance of repaying it and poor credit history. Not only that, you likely can’t afford the insurance for full coverage on a car.

   What you CAN do, is contact the American Kidney Foundation – they take donated cars to fix up, and GIVE to people JUST LIKE YOU, that need the cars to go for dialysis.

   Also, if you’re on SSDI, and/or Medicare/Medicaid, you can schedule a free shuttle from your house to the dialysis place. It’s part of the medicare/medicaid program. They pick you up, bring you to the medical providers, and take you home.

   Buy here Pay here’s will do it under most circumstances. If you get some sort of income from your disability, there is a good chance you should be able to get approved through a bank like Riverside or Fireside Finance
