Department could win fire truck in online contest

Massey’s shareholders will gather Tuesday at The Jefferson Hotel. The environmental groups said they plan to protest mountaintop-removal mining and what they say is Massey’s history of neglecting mine-safety regulations. The protest outside the hotel will be held by Mountain Justice, Coal River Mountain Watch, Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition, and Southern Appalachian Mountain Stewards.
